 Sinuses are air-filled cavities within the skull bone. These hollow spaces in the  skull are situated in cheek bones, forehead, behind the bridge of the nose and  between the eyes. This lining  produces mucus, which is drained out of the sinuses through an opening in the nose.

Diagnosis 

1. X-ray PNS water’s view- Shows congestion and hypertrophy of mucous  membrane.

2. Serum IgE – Elevated levels indicate allergy.

3. Allergy test for environmental , drug and food allergens- Specify the  stimulus for allergic reaction.

Management 

Homeopathic Management

1. Arsenicum album- Watery nasal discharge with thirst for small quantities of  water at a time. Restlessness and Fatigue accompany the complaints 2. Silicea: For sinus infections with headache after exposure to cold air.

3. Belladonna: For throbbing sinus headache with suppressed discharge and  redness of face.
